Baked Herb Salmon Recipe

Enjoying brunch or breakfast at home is the new trend. We're sharing a delicious brunch recipe to try, English Muffin Salmon Sliders.
Course: Breakfast, Main Course
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs filet of Salmon
  • 2 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
  • 3 Sprigs of Fresh Lemon-Thyme or English Thyme
  • 3 Sprigs of Fresh Savory
  • 7 large sweet basil leaves
  • Kosher Salt to taste
  • freshly cracked black peppercorns to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Fresh salmon doesn't require rinsing. But if the salmon isn't 100% fresh, rinse it under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Brush both sides of the salmon with extra virgin olive oil and season with Old Bay seasoning, Kosher salt, and freshly cracked black peppercorns.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lay the rosemary, thyme, and savory sprigs on the foil. Place the salmon (skin-side down) on top, then layer the basil leaves and remaining herbs over the salmon.
  • Place the salmon on the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and use for salmon sliders.
