Our Orange Pomegranate Wellness Drink recipe is infused with tangy and citrusy juices with a hint of organic sweetness—then topped with fizzy kombucha.
It’s served over ice in a glass dusted with rose sugar, then topped with a sluice of orange.
This drink is equally delicious and refreshing, and it’s a great way to quench your thirst any time of the day or night.

Orange Pomegranate Wellness Drink
Why a wellness drink? Unlike the popular mocktail, an alternative to alcoholic sipping—a wellness drink is lower in sugar and boasts additional nutrient-dense ingredients.
Think fresh medicinal herbs, spices, and natural fruit juices. Even fermented ingredients make an appearance, i.e., ginger beer, apple cider vinegar, kombucha, shrubs, etc.
For this recipe, we used our favorite Florida Orange Juice, pomegranate, organic agave syrup, and a mango and passionfruit-infused kombucha gently stirred and served over ice.
And, it doesn’t have to be 5 o’clock somewhere to enjoy all the delicious benefits this drink brings to the table.
Ya’ll see what I did right there? Cheers!
What You Will Need:
Pomegranate Juice. There are so many reasons to add pomegranate juice to this wellness drink. Pomegranate juice has antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, and heart-healthy benefits, and it also helps keep your gastrointestinal tract in good working order.
Orange Juice. We all know orange juice is high in vitamin C, but did you also know it has anti-inflammatory benefits? It is also rich in antioxidants, folate, and potassium.
Agave Syrup. As a sweetener, agave syrup is one of my favorites. Still, it also has a low glycemic index, and less sugar can aid in weight loss, reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and improve cardiovascular health.
Kombucha. Regarding kombucha, think digestion, detox, and energy booster. There are other benefits, too, so adding your favorite kombucha is always a good way to go. For this recipe, we used Humm Mango Passionfruit.
Rose Sugar and Dehydrated Orange. We added a little razzle-dazzle by adding dusted rose sugar to the side of the glass. Yes, it’s a little fancy, but we think it is an amusing idea that makes this drink pop! Add a dehydrated orange slice and cherry on top to make this drink pop!

How can I make this to serve eight?
Here is how to make this into a batch recipe to get eight servings:
- 2 cups of 100% orange juice
- 2 cups of pomegranate juice
- 1 cup of Agave syrup
- 1 cup of kombucha
Into a pitcher, add the orange and pomegranate juice and agave syrup.
Mix thoroughly, then pour into serving glasses filled with fresh ice.
Top each drink with an ounce of your favorite kombucha.
Can I make this drink a day or two ahead?
The short answer is yes! But to get the best-tasting drink possible, follow a few tips.
Combine all of the ingredients into a container that can be sealed with an air-tight lid or screw top. Storing drinks in an open-air container, even for a few days, you risk absorbing the odors into the drink, resulting in off flavors.
Second, leave out the ice. Dry mix the ingredients (mixing without ice), then store for one to two days. On the day of service, pour over ice in serving glasses and add garnish.
I don’t have dried oranges. Is there another garnish I can use?
Of course, you can use fresh orange, lemon, or lime slices.
Fresh herbs like mint, rosemary, or French tarragon.
Edible dried flowers like rose petals, lavender, jasmine, chrysanthemum, and amaranth are all great choices.
Now that you have the recipe gather the ingredients and try our Orange Pomegranate Wellness Drink.
