Frozen Strawberry Margarita Recipe
We’re getting ready to celebrate National Margarita Day with our Strawberry Margarita. We don’t need to wait for a special day to drink a margarita; we’re always up for a good time with one of these!
This cocktail is our favorite because who doesn’t like a mule-kicking strong and delicious frozen margarita?
What’s fun about this recipe is that it’s made in our Ninja Slushi Machine, which is great for serving several people.
We’re also sharing some alternative adjustments to this recipe if you use a regular blender or want to make one or two margaritas.
What You Will Need:
Purified Water. Purified water helps balance flavors and achieve that perfect slushy texture without any off-taste.
Blanco Tequila. Blanco tequila is recommended when making a margarita. It’s clean and smooth with a peppery edge — ideal for letting the fruit and lime shine.
Triple Sec / Grand Marnier adds a sweet, citrusy depth to the tequila, complementing the lime and rounding it out.
Fresh Strawberries from North Bay Produce. Using fresh or frozen strawberries helps bring out the vibrant color and juicy, fresh flavor—perfect for garnishing or blending.
Strawberry Puree. You can purchase this or use our homemade recipe, but the strawberry puree is essential to this margarita recipe. The fruity heart of the drink is smooth, sweet, and packed with strawberry flavor.
Fresh Lime Juice. Brightens the cocktail with just the right amount of tartness and balance.
If you only want to make 1-2 margaritas, follow this abbreviated recipe. If you plan to make this margarita in your Ninja Slushi machine or a blender for several people, follow the recipes listed in the recipe card.
