Sparkling Apple Cider Ginger Rosé
My lovely wife and I love to entertain.
Now that the heat of summer has subsided, we look forward to the familiar flavors of fall.
Recently, we put together a brunch appetizer featuring our Herb Cream Cheese, Fall Fruit & Honey Crostini, and the Sparkling Cider Ginger Rosé I am featuring here.
Together these two recipes pair beautifully, each lending a bounty of familiar fall flavors.
Both feature the crown jewel of autumn flavors, apples.
Because apples are deeply associated with fall, there’s no denying their place on any fall menu.
What a beautiful cocktail. And, with all of the tastes of fall, there’s no reason why this little number shouldn’t make an appearance at your next fall dinner party or family and friends get-together.
And if you want to keep it non-alcoholic, substitute the ginger liqueur for zero alcohol ginger syrup.
One of the things I love about this cocktail is its light alcohol content.
However, if you are inclined to add something a bit stronger, I highly recommend adding a cup of Leopold Bros New York Apple Whiskey or Revel Stoke Roasted Apple Whisky both are an excellent choices as well.

What is sparkling apple cider?
Sparkling apple cider is a carbonated apple cider. You will find it in the juice section. It is going to be in a glass container that looks like a wine bottle. It is so delicious and adds a nice fizzy component to your favorite apple drink.
What if I can’t find King Ginger Liqueur?
So if you can’t find this feel free to use a ginger syrup in replace. It is going to help give your cocktail a warm spicy component that is going to really elevate the flavor of your drink to a whole new level.
How to make homemade simple syrup?
Simple syrup is a 1:1 ratio. So you will bring a cup of water to almost a boil. Do not allow it to boil. Stir in the granulated sugar and mix until it is dissolved. Stir and then remove from the heat and allow the syrup to cool.
Then use the syrup as you would like for drinks. I store in an airtight container in the fridge until I am ready to use the syrup.
Can you make a thicker simple syrup?
Do 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water. You will follow the same method on how to make. The 2 cups to 1 cup water will help thicken the syrup and you will use the same. Of course it will be sweeter than a traditional syrup.
Is rosé wine sweet or bitter?
Rose wine depends on the flavor component to the brand you buy. You will find some are very sweet and other brands can be a bit on the dry side of wine. Make sure to read on the label what type of wine it is going to offer. Or ask someone who is working if they know so you can pick a wine that fits your preference.
