Ginger Rose Mocktail | Ginger Rose Cocktail
Looking for a non-alcoholic drink that doesn’t taste like something a kid would drink? Just because you don’t consume alcohol mean you have to settle for mediocre drinks. And using a few ingredients, we think we have a winner!
Just like making cocktails, you need quality ingredients to pull off a quality mocktail. Last year, we fell in love with non-alcoholic spirits because they elevate our mocktail making game to the next level.
Creating respectable non-alcoholic mixed drinks for adults takes the same kind of care, consideration, and attention to the details as it does to make spirit-based cocktails.
This mocktail starts with adding 1 1/2 ounces of rose syrup and 2 dashes of orange bitters into each glass’s bottom. Next, into a cocktail mixing glass or cocktail shaker, add ice, non-alcoholic spirits, orange juice, and ginger beer. Stir vigorously for thirty seconds using a long-handled bar-spoon, slowly pour the mixture over a large ice cube to get a beautifully layered mocktail.
What You Will Need To Make Our Ginger Rose Mocktail:
Rose Syrup. I love rose syrup in this mocktail because it adds subtle floral notes, making this non-alcoholic drink feel extra fancy.
Orange Bitters. Lots of good mixed drinks rely on balancing sweet and bitter flavors to create a favorable drinking experience. We think we have pulled off a winner!
Non-Alcoholic Spirits. Recently, mocktails got a leg-up on taste with the entry of high-end non-alcoholic spirits. For this recipe, we used one of our favorites, Seedlip Spice.
Orange Juice. Yellow is one of my favorite colors, and in this mocktail, the presence of orange juice signals the vibrancy of sunshine and good times. Orange juice always adds acidity and a bit of sweetness.
Ginger Beer. I love the spiciness of ginger beer; the bolder, the better! Adding ginger beer also adds some fizzy carbonation that makes this mocktail fun as well as super yummy!
