Peach + Black Cherry Punch- Non-Alcoholic Punch For A Crowd
Aren’t tailgate parties all kinds of fun? We don’t attend them often, but on occasion, we love going to them during football and enjoying the good company and good food, and maybe we’ll enjoy the game too if our team is winning.
However, tailgating is more about the social qualities than the actual game.
To keep the tailgate party vibe going, we created one of our favorite fall-inspired punches.
Our Black Cherry + Peach Party Punch is not only refreshing but also delicious, and as a bonus, it’s made with a nonalcoholic spirit.
What You Will Need for a Black Cherry Punch:
Apple cider is the base of the punch, with a rich, sweet, and spiced flavor that pairs well with fruit and herbs.
Seedlip Grove 42 (nonalcoholic spirit). Adds complexity and a citrus-forward, botanical flavor, making it refreshing and sophisticated without the alcohol.
Black cherry lemonade mix. Cherry Syrup. Brings a balance of tart and sweet, complementing the apple cider while adding a fruity depth to the punch. The syrup enhances the sweetness and intensifies the cherry flavor, creating a bold, vibrant punch.
Fresh peaches. Rosemary. Fresh peaches infuse the drink with a subtle, natural sweetness and a juicy, summery touch. The rosemary adds an aromatic, herbal twist that elevates the punch and brings a unique, earthy freshness.
Non-Alcoholic Party Punch Idea Using Seedlip Grove
Serving size: 16 people (based on 8 oz -10 oz each)
Ingredients:
- 1-gallon apple cider
- 1 23.7 fluid oz Seedlip Grove 42 (nonalcoholic spirit)
- 2 cups black cherry lemonade mix
- 1 cup cherry syrup
- 6 fresh peaches cut in half
- 2 peaches cut into quarters for serving (for the garnish)
- 4 lemons cut into slices
- 2 lemons cut into slices for serving/garnish
- 5 sprigs of rosemary
- ice
- long wooden cocktail sticks
Directions:
Note: For an alcoholic version, substitute the Seeplip Grove 42 with 3 cups of Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom (30% ABV)
- In a large punch dispenser or bowl, combine 1 gallon of apple cider, 23.7 oz of Seedlip Grove 42 (or 3 cups of Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom for the alcoholic version), 2 cups of black cherry lemonade mix, and 1 cup of cherry syrup. Stir until the lemonade mix is fully dissolved.
- Slice 6 fresh peaches in half, discard the seeds, and add the halved peaches to the punch.
- Thinly slice 4 lemons and add them to the punch.
- Stir the mixture to evenly distribute the peaches and lemon slices.
- To serve, fill individual cups with ice, then pour the punch over the ice.
- Garnish each cup with a peach quarter, lemon slice, and a sprig of fresh rosemary. Use long wooden cocktail sticks to spear the peach quarters if desired.
Can I make this punch ahead of time?
To prepare the punch ahead of time, mix the apple cider, Seedlip Grove 42, black cherry lemonade mix, and cherry syrup the day before.
Store the mixture in the fridge to chill overnight, allowing the flavors to come together.
Cut the peaches and lemons in advance, but keep them separate and refrigerate until just before serving to maintain freshness.
Add the fruit and garnish right before serving. Serve the punch over ice to prevent dilution.
Storing the leftover punch
If you happen to have extra punch, you can store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
Alternatively, freeze the punch in ice cube trays for future drinks or blend into a slushy.
You can also repurpose it as a smoothie base or dessert syrup or marinate it for fruits.
Additional Tips:
You can freeze apple cider or lemonade into ice cubes for extra flavor.
For the freshest appearance and flavor, wait to add the peach halves, lemon slices, and rosemary sprigs until just before you’re ready to serve. This prevents the fruit from becoming too soft or soggy if it sits in the liquid for too long.
You can also add the peach quarters and lemon slices for garnish right before serving individual cups for a visually appealing presentation.
Why is this a great party punch for a crowd?
