Lavender Lemonade Cocktail
Spring has sprung, and that means we’re heading headlong into warmer weather. What I’m trying to say is, the season of brunching is in full swing! When it comes to brunch, everyone is going to expect not just food but exceptional food. And if you’re going to have good food, then the cocktails have to be equally good.
An easy way to raise the bar when it comes to cocktail making this spring and summer is by adding Torani syrups to your mixed drink ingredient list. Our Lavender Lemonade cocktail is raising the bar, and the results are nothing short of toothsome.
Brunch Pairings
Some of our favorite brunch recipes include Banana Fosters French Toast, Hashbrown Casserole, and a recent favorite, our Cheesy Grits Quiche. It’s no surprise, every one of these recipes pairs well with our Lavender Lemonade cocktail. Recently, I served up a delicious brunch menu with a Cheesy Grits Quiche, thick-cut bacon, and fresh melon.
Why Torani? Because Torani syrups are made with natural, quality ingredients like pure cane sugar & natural flavors. Plus, Torani syrups mix well and are made to bring out the best in your cocktails, so you can make whatever you’re drinking custom-made just for you. One flavor can create endless recipes, and they are super simple to use – add a spoonful to your coffee, cocoa, latte, etc., for an everyday treat.
What You Will Need To Make Our Lavender Lemonade Cocktail:
Torani Lavender Syrup. This cocktail takes full advantage of the delicious floral character of Torani Lavender Syrup. Plus, I love the lavender color the cocktail takes on from the color of the Lavender syrup.
Gin. This cocktail takes on additional floral notes from two ounces of citrus-forward gin.
Creme de Violet Liqueur. When making a respectable spring lavender-infused cocktail, you can do no wrong with a dribble of creme de voile liqueur. Floral notes galore!
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice. There’s no easier way to add vibrancy and sunshine into a cocktail than adding fresh-squeezed lemon juice. It’s instant summertime vibes, and the lemon juice picks up the citrus notes of the gin and melds well with floral forward characteristics of this well-balanced cocktail.
Ginger Beer & Lemonade. Now, you can go an entire month with the ginger beer or the lemonade, but by adding equal parts of both, you are in for a treat!

Is ginger beer the same as ginger ale?
Ginger beer is a stronger drink that is used a lot in mixed drinks. You will find the ginger has a warming effect and is bursting with flavor. Where ginger ale is a lot more mild and offers a carbonation.
Do I have to make watermelon ice cubes?
The watermelon ice cubes are optional. You for sure do not have to use them. I just found that they tasted delicious as they slowly melted in the lemonade cocktail.
How to make this a mocktail?
For this recipe you can swap the alcohol with either a lemonade or lemonade flavored water for a sweet twist that is kid-friendly. Feel free to ginger ale or even a lemon lime soda as well if you want a more carbonated drink to serve your kids.
What does Crème de Violette taste like?
Creme de Violette is a floral flavor with a hint of citrus and herb. You will find this is a bit of a lighter flavor so feel free to add or take away to fit your personal preference.
