How To Create A Hot Cocoa Drawer
Instead of using counter space to create a hot cocoa bar/station, I used one of our kitchen drawers to organize and store everything without giving up space.
When we updated our kitchen, one way I maximized space in our small kitchen was to add drawer pull-outs to as many of our IKEA Maximera drawers as possible.
Even if you don’t have a “hidden” drawer, you can take your junk drawer or another drawer to create a hot cocoa drawer for the holiday and winter.
Hot cocoa is a staple in our home throughout the holiday and winter seasons, so having a place to have everything neat and organized makes our hot cocoa nights even better.

Where do you put the excess amount of items?
I have a drawer in our kitchen to house additional tins of hot cocoa, marshmallows, and all our Santa and Christmas mugs.
We keep the extra bags of candy and treats in the garage until I refill the drawer.
One thing I didn’t add to our drawer (yet) is hot cocoa bombs.
What if I don’t have a big drawer like this?
Use whatever size drawer you have! The great thing about using organizers is that they come in all shapes and sizes.
This idea is to inspire you to create your style of hot cocoa drawer. So, use our post as inspiration to create something fun for you and your family this holiday season.
