Our Gingerbread Latte is a great way to elevate your coffee routine. It’s ready in minutes and pairs well with cold winter weather.
If you’re a fan of Starbucks Gingerbread Latte, then you’ll love this homemade one even more!
Gingerbread Chocolate Latte
Our Gingerbread Chocolate Latte is everything!
We start with creamy half-n-half.
And the perfect chocolate latte mix
There’s also the warm spice of gingerbread syrup.
And, of course, we topped it off with a toasted extra-large marshmallow!
That’s it, a four-ingredient chocolate latte that is 100% yummy!
Here Is What You Will Need:
Half-n-Half. Although you can use whatever kind of milk you like—I love using half and half because it is the best of both worlds. It’s creamier than regular whole milk but not as rich as heavy cream, perfect. But, feel free to use:
- whole milk
- 2% milk
- oat milk
- almond milk
- soy milk
Hotel Chocolat Latte Mix. Listen. We recently tried Chocolate Latte Mocha Flakes from Hotel Chocolat, and it was amazing! But you can also make a homemade chocolate latte at home, and I will show you how. We also tried it with the Caramel Latte variety, and they both were really good!
Gingerbread Syrup. Regarding holidays, I love adding a bit of gingerbread syrup to coffee and hot chocolate. All those warming spices are perfect during the chilling months of autumn and winter. We like the Torani brand. You can buy online or at stores like World Market.
Jumbo Marshmallow. Adding a big, fluffy, toasted marshmallow is the cherry on top. It makes our chocolate extra special. You can find the jumbo packs of marshmallows at your local grocery like Meijer, Kroger, Target, or order online.

How does this compare to the Gingerbread Starbucks Latte?
The Starbucks version of this drink includes whipped cream, milk foam, and pumpkin spice topping.
Add those ingredients if you want to make this into a copycat Starbucks latte.
You’ll also want to add three additional pumps of Gingerbread syrup.
