Plan a historic and beautiful stay at the French Lick Resort in Indiana. Beautiful place to stay with activities for the whole family!
French Lick Resort Hotel {Historic Hotel}
Life can be downright chaotic. Likened to a never-ending carousel if you will. From dawn till dusk it seems like all I do is clean my home, run errands, drop off and pick up from school and flit from one extra-curricular activity to the next. Some days I get it all done and feel like a champ but others I’m left so exhausted that when my family comes home, it’s all I can do to ask about their days without falling asleep in the middle of the conversation.
This constant on the go lifestyle makes it hard to connect with my family as often as I’d like. So, I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to deviate from our normal routine and indulge in pure family time. These opportunities are rare for my family these days with everyone being so busy, but when they do come along, I make the most of it. For instance, we were recently given the opportunity to indulge in a brief stay at the French Lick Resort in Indiana, and I naturally couldn’t pass it up. The chance to spend quality time with family, outside of the normal rushed and cramped routine, is so rare that a trip to the French Lick Resort was just what we needed.
As part of the Historic Hotels of America, established in 1845, the French Lick Resort showcases a rich historic experience with modern amenities. The resort is known for having a family friendly atmosphere. So, if you’ve been on the look out for the ideal location for a family getaway then the resort has features that each member of your family can enjoy. Whether you’re celebrating something extra special or just looking to make memories that will last for years to come, then there’s no better place than the French Lick Resort. From golf to a trip to the spa or hiking, biking or swimming, there’s no shortage of fun and exciting things to enjoy during your stay.
Upon your arrival, the resort itself is an incredible sight to behold. If the look and feel of a hotel are important to you, then you’ll be delighted with this resort. The design is based on the Victorian age, making it both timeless and classic. The building that houses the resort isn’t the only aesthetically pleasing aspect either, guests will delight in the beauty of the surrounding grounds as well.
During our stay, my family and I were able to stay in the Suite Guest Room. Like the other rooms in the resort, the room was a smoke-free suite and measured in around 528 square feet which were perfect for our family size.
There was even a separate seating area that housed a queen sized sleeper sofa which comes in handy if you have extra people in your party. The Suite Guest Room has a lot of different features to offer potential guests and includes:
- 720 Thread Count Sheets
- Adjustable Thermostat
- Alarm Clock Radio
- Flat Screen TV
- Full-Length Mirror
- Hair Dryers
- On-demand Movies
- In-Room Coffee and Tea
- Refrigerator
- and more!
