Honey Garlic Butter French Green Beans
Honey Garlic Butter French Green Beans will elevate your Easter Sunday supper as soon as your place them on the dinner table.
Like any recipe, it all begins with good ingredients, and this recipe gets a good start on delicious because we always use North Bay Produce French Greens Beans.
This recipe might become one of your favorite ways to make french beans.
What You Will Need
French Green Beans. For this recipe, fresh green beans are the best. We prefer North Bay Produce French Green Beans (also known as haricot verts), but you can also grab regular green beans at your grocery store or local farmers’ market when they are in season.
Unsalted Butter. I prefer unsalted butter because it allows me to control the amount of salt I add to any recipe. For this recipe, I add a finishing salt right before serving.
Garlic. I used eight large cloves of garlic in our honey garlic glaze. However, feel free to use less or more to suit your taste.
Honey. Whenever possible, I opt for local honey as it is a resource-saver and helps minimize my carbon footprint. Additionally, if you have allergies, local honey contains local allergens, which may help alleviate your symptoms.
Sea Salt. I add kosher salt to the boiling water when blanching the French green beans, and just before serving, I use a good finishing salt. You could also add black pepper for additional seasoning.
