Dr. Seuss Day Party Ideas
Happy Dr. Seuss Day! March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’s birthday, as well as National Reading Day. March is also known as National Reading Month, kicking off with a full week of celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday and reading week.
Growing up, I loved reading The Cat In The Hat, as well as watching the movie. Green Eggs and Ham, Horton Hears a Who!, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas were other favorites I enjoyed reading (as well as watching those movies).
The Lorax and The Grinch are super cute movies with great messages. I can’t tell you how many times our family has watched The Lorax.
But of all the books and movies, Oh the Places You’ll Go is my favorite book by Dr. Seuss. I received it as a graduation present from a teacher who I admired and worked with during my years as a high school student.
