What will I need to complete this pizza oreos recipe?
Chocolate chip cookie dough. So you can reach for store-bought cookie dough or consider making homemade cookie dough. Either way, you will spread it out on a pizza pan in a thin layer.
Cream cheese. Make sure your cream cheese is softened, so it spreads smoothly. Full-fat cream cheese is best since it will amplify the dish.,y.
Heavy cream. If you do not have heavy cream, you can use whole milk to replace it; it will make a thinner consistency.
Butter. Butter will add incredible richness to the cookie topping. I recommend not using margarine. Unsalted or salted butter will work for this recipe.
Vanilla extract. This adds a nice hint of sweetness! You could also use an almond extract for a slightly different twist in flavor.
Powdered sugar. The powdered sugar is a must, as it will help thicken the mixture without giving it a gritty texture.
Oreos. Reach for crumbled cookies! You can buy Oreo crumbs, place the Oreo cookies in a sealed bag, and use a rolling pin or mallet to break up and crush the cookies.
Marshmallow cream. This secret ingredient gives this Halloween cookie pie a sweet and sticky flavor.
Candy eyes. These candy eyes give such fun pop to the giant cookie recipe. You can find these in the baking aisle at the grocery store or shop online and ship them to your doorstep.
Supplies Needed. Parchment paper, a rolling pin, a 12-inch pizza pan, and a large bowl.
Can I make this pizza dessert ahead of time?
Yes! This cookie can be made up to a day in advance.
Anything longer than that, you will find the cookie will begin to dry out.
If you make it in advance, cover it with plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc., to prevent it from drying.

Can I use marshmallow topping instead of marshmallow cream?
You sure can, I have used both before, and they both work great.
I find that the marshmallow cream helps speed up the prep as you drizzle on.
Could I use a different cookie dough-like sugar cookie?
Sure! Essentially you can use any flavor of cookie dough you would like.
I have tried the sugar cookie before, and let me say it is just as delicious.
The chocolate chip adds even more sweetness to the pizza cookie recipe.
This is a great Pillsbury cookie dough option if you don’t want to make the homemade cookie dough.
Just make sure you don’t use pizza dough.
How long do I have to let the cookie crust cool before adding the cream cheese frosting?
You want to ensure the cookie crust is completely cooled so the cream cheese frosting won’t melt.
I like to let the cookie sit on the cooling rack for a couple of hours.
That way, you can ensure the cookie is cooled off.
Otherwise, it will melt the cream cheese frosting and make a mess.
Where can I find the candy eyes?
You can find them in the baking aisle at Target and Walmart, and craft stores carry them in different sizes.
Or shop for them on Amazon and have them delivered to your doorstep.
As you can see, I used a mix of sizes for this giant pizza cookie.
I thought it helped add a lot of depth to the cookie.
How to store the sweets pizza?
Due to the cream cheese frosting, this sweet pizza must be stored in the fridge.
Otherwise, the cream cheese mixture will spoil if left out at room temperature.
You want to make sure that your cookie dessert doesn’t sit out for more than 2 hours at a time; otherwise, it can begin growing bacteria and spoiling.
Can you freeze leftover cookie pizza?
If you want to freeze any Oreos pizza cookie you don’t eat immediately, go right ahead.
Please place it in an airtight container or freezer container.
Freeze the leftover dessert for up to three months.
Do a quick thaw for an hour on the counter or thaw overnight in the fridge when you want to eat some.
