Game Day means getting friends and family together to watch our favorite sports teams and eating lots of good food. I can’t tell you how the games are going to go, but I can show you how to handle the good food part. Our Game Day Wings Grazing Board is just the ticket with three kinds of wings and a variety of dips and munchies to get things moving in the right direction.
Game Day Chicken Wings Grazing Board
Our grazing board is pretty straight forward with three types of wings that you can prep the day before or the day of the game, give yourself time to prep all of the veggies and chicken, and you’ll be good to go. But you may want to make extras because once your guests get a taste, I’m pretty sure they’ll want more. And if you’re a fan of grazing board, be sure to check out our Supersized Grazing Board For Game Day.
Hint. Season the chicken and let it sit overnight in the fridge for a deeper flavor.
Grazing boards are easy to put together; grab a variety of finger foods like carrots and celery, then add whatever other types of munchies you prefer. I added sliced cucumbers, jalapenos, stuffed olives, pineapple chunks, and juicy grapes. It’s all up to you!
For the chicken wings, I made three types. Thai wings. Buffalo wings, and Honey barbecue.
Our Chunky Ranch Blue Cheese dip is the whip!
What You’ll Need To Make This Chicken Wings Grazing Board:
Chicken Wings. For this recipe, I used two pounds of chicken wings for each flavor. I also split the chicken wings into two pieces discarding the wingtips. Keep scrolling for the wing recipes down below.
Vegetables. When it comes to eating chicken wings, I added the usual subjects like celery and carrots, but I also included sliced cucumbers and jalapeno peppers to spice things up a bit.
Fruits. I added juicy green grapes, and sweet chunks of pineapple both work great for countering the savor of the wings. Feel free to add different kinds of fruits to suit your tastes.
Olives. This grazing board has its fair share of flavors from salty, sweet, and everything in-between, but the olives bring the umami.
Dipping Sauces. For this chicken wing grazing board, I made a Chunky Ranch Blue Cheese and an Apricot Honey Mustard that is better than good.
