Be Mine Valentine’s Moscow Mule
Nothing says “Be Mine” like a pretty Valentine’s Day cocktail. Okay, admittedly, there are many ways and multiple means to woo your beloved, i.e., jewelry, chocolate, and bubble baths.
But imagine this: she is adorned in her newly acquired bling, munching on decadent chocolates and soaking luxuriously in a bounty of warm bubbles.
But alas, isn’t she parched? Isn’t her throat relatively arid? But it doesn’t have to be this way.
A severe case of dehydration can assuredly be avoided by mixing up this sweet, spicy, and sentimentally perfect Be Mine Valentine’s Moscow Mule.
My dear Don Juan, read on because right below is where you’ll find your Cupid’s arrow in cocktail form. Cheers!
What Is A Moscow Mule?
Moscow Mules have picked up steam over the past couple of years. You will find most mules contain ginger beer paired with vodka, lime, and other ingredients.
You will find tons of variations available to make.
Of course, this Valentine’s Day cocktail has some strawberries and candy hearts for garnishing!

Ingredients Needed
Vodka. Reach for your favorite brand of vodka. I went with plain vodka as it will work best with the other ingredients. If you use flavored vodka, make sure it will pair well with the ginger beer.
*For this mule drink, I recommend using Tito’s vodka or Grey Goose, which are excellent vodka choices for making a Moscow mule.
Ginger Beer. Don’t confuse this with ginger ale. Ginger beer has a nice spicy kick of ginger used to mix in cocktails. Find it near the mixed drink supplies.
Lime Juice. Reach for lime juice to help offer an acidic and citrus components that will bring all the flavors together. I recommend fresh-squeezed lime juice.
Strawberries. Use ripe, organic, fresh berries to help add a nice sweetness to your cocktail. Plus, it adds a nice color to your mixed drink presentation.
Candy Hearts. Conversation Hearts are a classic treat for Valentine’s Day, and they worked perfectly paired with this drink.
Moscow Mule Ingredients:
- 2 ounces vodka
- 3 ounces ginger beer
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice

- freshly sliced lime wheels
- Valentine’s Day candy { Conversation Candy hearts}
- crushed ice or ice cubes
Directions:
- Combine vodka, ginger beer, lime juice, and crushed ice in a cocktail shaker into a glass filled with ice, or add the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
- Pour into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice .
- Add sliced strawberries and a lime wheel.
- Serve with conversation hearts.
Can I Double The Recipe
Go right ahead and make as much or as little of this ginger Moscow mule drink. Just make it as you serve it, as the ice will water down the cocktail if you make it in advance.
Do I Have to serve this cocktail with Candy Hearts?
No, you don’t have to, but it does add a romantic element and it’s fun. But feel free to omit them if you want to, no biggie.
Can I Make This Moscow Mule Stronger?
Adjust how much vodka you mix in to create a more potent cocktail if you prefer. I like to do around 2 ounces, but you are more than welcome to add 3-4 ounces if you want a lot stronger vodka cocktail.
