If you’re one of those people who loves spoilers, well, here is a list of Avengers: Endgame spoilers to read. Caution, you have been warned!
Avengers Endgame Spoilers
Earlier today, one of my friends asked me to tell her what happened in Avengers: Endgame. I said, “Are you sure? I don’t want to spoil it for you.”
But she wanted to know. Which led me to ask her, “Do you think other people want spoilers?”
And according to the Internet, yes, people want movie spoilers. Why? I don’t know. I don’t like reading spoilers before seeing a movie. I also know that Thanos Demands your silence and doesn’t want anyone to ruin it for anyone else.
But, I get the anxiety and anticipation that comes along with wanting to know how a movie ends before seeing it. I can’t tell you how many times I skipped to the back of a book to find out if my favorite character dies.
If you are one of those people who love spoilers and really want to know, then this post is for you! Everyone else? BUT WAIT!
Also, be sure to check out all the best Avengers Endgame movie quotes!
So, for all of those Marvel fans that WANT spoilers, I got a lot!
Proceed with caution. You have been warned. Don’t talk about these spoilers online! Many people want to see the movie for themselves. So let’s not ruin it for the majority of the world. 🙂
FYI- there is no post-credits in Avengers: Endgame. So, there is no reason to stay after the credits start rolling. But maybe you should. I will explain down below!
Here are 28 confirmed Avengers Endgame Spoilers:
- Tony Stark dies at the end of the movie. There I said it! He puts on the reforged Infinity Gauntlet after removing the stones from Thanos’ Gauntlet and snaps his finger. Apparently, Iron Man wasn’t strong enough to handle all that raw power. {eye roll here, because I loathe the fact MCU always portrayed Stark be the most important character.} So yes, Iron Man dies. Well, at least the Tony Stark version.
- Sorry Black Panther fans, but you will not get any #WakadaForever in this movie. I think Black Panther may have said one or two words in this movie. He does appear at the end with everyone else, including Shuri, Okoye.
- Winston Duke is in this movie too and appears with his warriors, and you get a few glimpses of him, but that’s all. Don’t expect any dialogue.
- Natasha/Black Widow sacrifices herself for the Soul Stone. She goes back and forth with Hawkeye to determine who will sacrifice themselves and die since they both in a really dark frame of mind. But eventually, she wins at dying. Will she come back? Who knows?
- Gamora doesn’t return. Well, at least the version of Gamora that Starlord knew and fell in love with. She’s still dead in real-time, but we do see the Gamora from her past (there’s a bunch of the time traveling in this movie) get in on the action.
- Her sister, Nebula, unfortunately, gets tangled up with her father, Thanos. When the Avengers go back in time to get the infinity stones, Nebula’s brain glitches, and her past Nebula is able to tap into the present Nebula, and Thanos is able to play her memories back and learns of the Avengers plan to take back the stones. So, of course, he can’t have that happen. So he sends the past Nebula back down to earth to open up the time portal for him and his army to come in and steal the stones again and maybe kill everyone.
- In the beginning of Endgame, the Avengers (sans Ant-Man) go to the planet Titan to confront Thanos and hopefully retrieve the stones. However, to their surprise, Thanos tells them that he destroyed the stones. Thor then, to everyone’s surprise, uses Stormbreaker to chop off Thanos’s head. Rocket asked him why he did that. Thor replied, “I went for the head.” As you recall, in the movie Infinity War, in the end, Thanos told Thor he should have gone for his head when Thor put his ax Stormbreaker into the chest of Thanos. Thor wasn’t taking a chance this time.
- The Avengers then head back down to earth, and the movie jumps ahead to 5-years later.
- Stark marries Potts, and they have an adorable little girl named Morgan. Stark is a great dad, definitely better than his father was to Tony.
- In the five years later, reality, the Avengers are all a mess. Thor drinks all day and has a gut that looks like melted ice cream. He’s a hot mess, possibly suffering from PTSD. He’s still funny and quite charming, but I am not a fan of the huge beer belly. His fat suit was horrible! As much as I didn’t like seeing Thor fat, I feel like the Russo brothers wanted to make a point. Thor felt like a failure. He was depressed. He couldn’t save his brother Loki, Thanos destroyed his home Asgard, and to top it all off, Thor He failed to kill Thanos, and half of the known universe, along with so many of his friends, died. Everything he tried to do didn’t work. He gave up. While all depressed people are not fat, they wanted to show this negative and cynical side of Thor. I felt when Thor was able to go back in time and talk to his mom, his attitude shifted. He was able to have some peace and regained some of his bravado and confidence.
- We all know that Ant-Man had been stuck in the Quantum Realm after Hope and everyone was snapped out of existence. His van is locked away at a police inbound station. A rat accidentally steps on some controls, which brings him back to the current time. So that’s how he gets out of the Quantum Realm.
- Ant-Man is an essential key to this story, which is why it is important to watch Ant-Man and The Wasp Movie. Ant-Man is able to tell/show the Avengers about time travel, or as they call is it, “time heist” and devise a plan to go back and secure the stones.
- Where is Loki? Loki only makes appearances from the past, nothing from the present. So, is he dead? Based on what we saw in Infinity War, everyone thinks he is gone, but who knows?
- The Professor Hulk’s prediction is true. Bruce Banner is finally able to control Hulk, and I LOVE Professor Hulk. Hulk wears clothes, glasses, and even dabs.
- Banner/Hulk puts on the Infinity Gauntlet made by Stark and brings everyone back. SNAP!
- There has been a prediction that Hawkeye turns into Ronin. Well, he does take on that role in a way, but Natasha comes to save him after she tells him that they are going back to get everyone back. But before that, Hawkeye was in Tokoyo, killing every bad guy in sight, wearing Ronin-like attire, and wielding a Samurai sword.
- Pepper Potts suits up! Yes, we see her join the epic battle at the end of Avengers: Endgame, which is perfect since she gets to be there to say goodbye to Stark before he dies.
- Of course, we will get our Stan Lee cameo. So long, Mr. Lee, we will always love you!
- With Avengers Endgame: we get all of the superheroes and their friends, sidekicks, etc. in one story. Except a few are left out, one being Lang’s friend Luis. I was really hoping for a funny story involving Luis.
- We finally see Captain America wield the hammer Mjolnir. I think that was the most emotional moment during the entire movie. The audience was shouting and clapping. This moment was epic!
- At the end of the movie, Captain America goes back into the Quantum Realm to return all the Infinity Stones. But when Professor Hulk tries to bring him back, he’s not there. A few seconds later, Hulk, Bucky, and Sam see an old man sitting on a bench staring out at the lake. It’s Steve Rogers as an old man. He told them that he wanted to get a taste of what Stark had (meaning family and love). Basically, he got a life.
- Thor hands the keys of the kingdom New Asgard over to Valkyrie and leaves with the Guardians. Now wouldn’t be cool to see an Asgardians of the Galaxy movie?!
- When Steve goes back into the Quantum Realm to return the stones, he decides to have a life for himself. The end scene cuts to him dancing with Peggy, the love of his life.
- Steve takes out the shield and hands it to Sam. Sam looks at him, then looks at Bucky, who nods in agreement. “Thank you. I’ll do my best.” Steve says, “That’s why it’s yours.”
- Bucky knew that Steve was leaving and not coming back. He says goodbye to him at the end, and I’m going to miss you, Capt! He also knew that Steve was going to give the shield to Sam. When Sam looks back at him after Steve puts the shield in front of him, Bucky gives him a nod. I thought that was such a sweet gesture.
- As mentioned, there are no post-credits. However, during the credits, you hear some hammering going on. Some believe it is the hammering from Iron Man’s suit in 2008’2 Iron Man. It matches up with the sound of Tony Stark creating the proto-Iron Man Suit, the Mark I. So maybe it was a final nod to him, or could it mean something else?
- Did anyone else think the old Steve Rogers look like Joe Biden?
- Everyone wants to know who was the kid behind the Winter Soldier at Stark’s funeral. Well, that is the kid from Iron Man 3 who helped him with his suit, Harley Keener (Ty Simpkins).
Steve doesn’t die, so it leaves you wondering if he may appear in future movies. Avengers Endgame leaves us with a few questions. Is this the end for Natasha and Gamora, or will they come back? We see Steve hand off the Captain America shield to Sam, which means he must be the next Captain America.
I feel that Marvel has altered time, so at this point, Loki, Gamora, and Natasha could come back? Maybe Iron Man isn’t really dead? Or if the hammering going on in the credits is the making of an Iron Man suit, is someone else going to be Iron Man? War Machine, Potts?
So many questions get answered in this movie, but we are still left with quite a few!
Endgame wraps up an era, giving way to the next chapter. Are there other Avengers Endgame Spoilers you have I didn’t mention? Let me know below in the comments.

I thought the movie was ok (my 3 teen boys of course do not agree). I was very touched by the time Thor spent with his mother, Tony spent with his father and Steve seeing his love. I don’t agree that Gamora was dead. She was at the end remember, her sister told her she had chose Starwar over a tree. She just left at the end without him. I will have to watch Antman now…… It was great family time with my boys. Mine are 19, 17 and 16. The oldest one just finished his first year in college at Fisk University. I’m a proud mama

Hi Audrey! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I loved the time Thor with his mom as well. And sounds like a fun way to spend time with your boys. And you have three, too! And yes, congrats mama on your son’s + your success. We are almost at that stage, so any tips you can pass on, help me out!
As far as Gamora goes- that Gamora at the end was the Gamora from the past. The present Gamora is still gone- but I don’t think she’s gone for good. I think she is going to come back, I just don’t know.
Thanks for leaving a comment and letting me know you guys liked the movie!!
