Alcohol-Free Apple Pie Sangria
Our Alcohol-Free Apple Pie Sangria Punch is the perfect fall cocktail for this time of year.
And with the holiday season around the corner, this fall drink is a good recipe for your holiday dinner.
It comes together quickly, and it tastes as good as it looks. I promise.
It’s fizzy in all the right places with the additions of sparkling apple cider and ginger beer.
But there’s also the familiar sweetness of traditional apple cider, too!
We tossed in sliced North Bay Produce Apples, oranges, and tart lemons.
There are also cinnamon sticks and apple pie spice.
In short, this autumnal refreshment is both yummy and visually appealing.
What You Will Need
North Bay Apples. We love North Bay Apples, and they are perfect in this easy sangria punch recipe. We cut the apples into 1/8-inch slices and tossed them with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Use your favorite apples, like Honey Crisp, Gala, or Granny Smith.
Oranges & Lemons. Adding slices of citrus fruit like oranges and lemons is a great way to make our apple pie sangria punch shine! Those citrus flavors pair well with the apple slices and look stunning in a punch bowl.
Non-Alcoholic Spirit. There are a couple of reasons why going alcohol-free is how to entertain a large crowd. For one, many people forego alcohol—their lifestyle choices don’t include refreshments like beer, spirits, or wine. I found that when it comes to providing refreshments, it is best to offer a non-alcoholic option but have a few bottles of vodka, whiskey, rum, etc., for those who want to indulge.
- We highly recommend Seedlip Spice 94 Non-alcoholic Spirits.
Sparkling Apple & Apple Cider. We added sparkling apple cider for its fizz and bubbles and traditional unrefined apple cider for its rustic apple flavor.
Ginger Beer. We love ginger beer as is, but during the autumn months, we find ourselves adding it to our favorite cocktails and mocktails to add a punch of seasonal razzle-dazzle. Here are my favorite ginger beers:
Cinnamon Sticks & Apple Spice. Cinnamon Sticks add flavor and visual interest, and the ground apple spice adds warming spices, which are the hallmark flavors of fall and winter.

- Make a cinnamon sugar rim for the rim of the glasses for an extra razzle-dazzle
Can I make this sangria punch a day ahead?
Absolutely. You can make it in a punch bowl, then place cling wrap over the bowl and stick it in the fridge, or you can make it in a large bowl and use a funnel to pour the sangria punch into the empty apple cider gallon containers.
Store the fruit separately or add them fresh just before serving.
How long will non-alcoholic sangria punch last in the fridge?
When adequately sealed, it can last four to five (4-5) days.
If alcohol has been added, the punch can last one to two (1-2) weeks.
Can I add wine or alcohol to the sangria punch?
Once you have selected a wine or alcohol option for your sangria, combine wine with the other liquid options in step three.
Yes. Dryer wines work well in fall sangrias; try one of these:
- Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or a Chardonnay (if you prefer dry white wine)
- Rioja, Garnacha, or a good Beaujalois (Spanish red wine options)
Or, if you prefer a sweet or fruit-forward wine, try one of these:
- Fall Harvest Riesling, Ice Wine, or a Moscato
When it comes to spirits, you can go with the traditional route and use brandy and add one of the following:
- Spiced Pear Liqueur
- Caramel Vodka
- Apple Brandy
- Ginger Liqueur like Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur, Barrow’s Intense Ginger, and William & Sonoma Pear Ginger Mix
- Orange Liqueur like Cointreau, Grand Marnier, or Triple Sec are all great options.
Our easy fall sangria recipe is perfect for holiday entertaining.
It just may become your favorite recipe to sip on as we transition from the autumn season to cooler days.
