What exactly is a frosting board?
A frosting board is similar to a dessert board made with frosting.
You will create the Grinch theme frosting in the center of the board.
Then you add items to top your frosting with food items to dip in the frosting.
It is a fun way to serve up your sweet desserts.
You can use store-bought cookies or crackers or make homemade items for dipping your frosting.

Additional notes:
Customizable traditional Christmas cookie flavors! My favorite is the pretzels dipped in the frosting…hello, sweet and salty perfection! Yum! You have tons of ways you can dip in your frosting.
- Pretzels
- Crackers
- Cookies
- Teddy Grahams or Graham Crackers
- Cookies
- Etc.
How thin or thick should I spread the frosting?
You will want to spread a thick layer of the frosting on the board.
The reason is that it is easier to scoop up a plate with sprinkles, candies, etc.
It will be harder to scoop up if it is too thin.
Why do you have so many toppings?
I love having tons of toppings on frosting boards.
This is an easy way to let family or friends pick their toppings for decorating their frosting.
Also, kids love to pile on their favorite frosting toppings and create crazy, fun ideas.
Can I make homemade frosting?
Yes, you can whip up your favorite homemade frosting.
It can be a flavored or classic vanilla frosting; add food coloring to get the green color.
Note: Chocolate frosting doesn’t work as it won’t color green.
Can I make this board in advance?
Yes, you can make your board a day in advance.
Make sure you cover your dessert board with plastic wrap or foil to prevent the frosting from creating a crust as it dries out; then, uncover and serve.
