Spiced Pumpkin Eggnog Mocktail
When I was old enough to know what was going on, it didn’t take long to figure out that the last three months of the year were pretty amazing and a ton of fun.
It begins with October, specifically Halloween.
For a kid, a holiday celebration doesn’t get much better than Halloween.
There’s the requisite scary, silly stuff like monsters, witches, and werewolves, but there’s also a Willy Wonka treasure trove of candy.
And even though I am older and have three teenagers, Halloween is still my favorite.
In the spirit of Jack-O-Lanterns and black cats, we’re tossing back our Spiced Pumpkin Eggnog Mocktail.
Here’s what you’ll need to make our Spiced Pumpkin Eggnog Mocktail
Eggnog. Eggnog is typically used during the Christmas holiday season. However, there’s no good reason why you can’t enjoy eggnog during Halloween. And this fall mocktail with eggnog and pumpkin mixed together is a way to enjoy both holiday flavors.
Coconut Milk. The more I use coconut milk in recipes, the more I love it; this recipe just makes everything better.
Pumpkin Puree. I have been using this brand of pumpkin puree for a few years now, and it never fails to tantalize my taste buds. So good!
Pumpkin Preserve or Pumpkin Butter. Adding a loving spoonful of pumpkin preserves or pumpkin butter adds a bit of seasonal sweetness to this easy autumnal drink.
Pumpkin Pie Spice. And, of course, this 100% delicious drink needs a dusting of pumpkin pie spice to make it complete! Just a little is all you need!

Can I use something different than coconut milk?
You can use almond milk, heavy cream, or even a whole milk if you want. I love the coconut milk paired with the flavors but feel free to do an alternative if you need.
Where do you find eggnog?
You will find eggnog in the dairy section at the grocery store. A lot of the times it is by the milk or the coffee creamers that are refrigerated. Feel free to check in both of those spots.
Can I add alcohol to this?
Feel free to add a splash of rum or brandy to this to make it a cocktail. You can use any type of alcohol you want, just make sure it is one you enjoy. Then add a shot and stir well.
Can I make a large batch to serve a crowd?
You can make a large pitcher to serve up family and friends. Just mix it up, pour into glasses and top with some pumpkin spice seasoning. Then sip and enjoy a tasty eggnog drink.
