Super easy recipe for Peppermint Bark with Oreos! How to make Peppermint Bark- With Oreos.
Easy Christmas dessert recipe to try this year!
How to make Peppermint Bark- With Oreos
I love to bake during the holidays. For some reason, I tend to like baking more than cooking. I think part of that reason happened naturally, with Derrick cooking most of the meals in our house.
Another thing I love, putting together easy recipes! Any recipe that calls for Oreos has just got to be SO GOOD!
This would also be an excellent gift jar idea to give someone for Christmas.
I have another recipe for Peppermint bark without Oreos that is easy to make and great for this holiday season.
Ingredients for Peppermint Oreo Bark recipe:
- 1 ¼ cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- 14 Oreos
- 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
- ¾ cup Crushed Candy Canes
Directions for Peppermint Oreo Bark Recipe:
- Line a 9″ x13″ baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or double boiler. Pour into parchment-lined baking dish and spread evenly, all the way to the edges.
- Scatter crushed Oreos across melted chocolate.
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. With a spoon, spread across the layer of Oreos as evenly as you can.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes fairly evenly over the top of the white chocolate.
- Allow the bark to cool completely. I like to put mine in the refrigerator for an hour or so.
- Remove from pan, and gently break into desired sized pieces.
