The International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot is the perfect picture of spring. It’s also an event that highlights the beauty of Disney horticulture. I’m sharing 37 things to do while you’re there at the Flower & Garden Festival.

The International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot is the perfect picture of spring. If you are a gardening enthusiast, you will love it; but you don’t have to garden to appreciate the beauty and splendor of the gardens Disney creates.
The Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot is an opportunity to see some beautiful garden exhibits. Of course, there is also fun and food inspired by the themes of the festival. This festival had me at food, for real. Disney knows how to draw foodies in with so many choices, it’s hard to pick what to eat.

The art of horticultural landscaping is on full display during the festival. With this Flower and Garden bucket list, you clearly see how these gardens play an integral part in park immersion.

Here’s a list of things you should do while you’re exploring Epcot’s Flower and Garden festival!
- Stop and take a selfie at the welcome topiary with butterflies located at the front gate.
- Pick up a Passport for all of the Outdoor Kitchens so you don’t miss a thing.
- Admire the Daisy Duck topiary at Spaceship Earth.
- Stop and smell the topiary flowers outside of MouseGear.
- See the special houses made for migratory birds from the Brazilian rainforest at. the Purple Martin Garden. You can learn more about these creatures and Disney’s research from an Animal Kingdom wildlife expert.
- Stop in the Festival Center for Arbor at the Gardeners Terrace to try a fried green tomato dish with blue crab fennel salad, remoulade, and smoked paprika oil.
- Find the Bo Peep, her sheep, Buzz and Woody topiary in Future World East.
- Let the kids get out their energy at Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Grounds.
- Check out the topiaries of Lightning McQueen and Mater near Test Track.
- Go find the topiary of Disney’s cuddly space alien Stitch near Mission Space.
- Head to The Seas pavilion to take a close look at the composition of the Penguin Sculpture made from recycled garbage found in the ocean.
- Discover the ultimate garden in The Land Pavilion and take the Behind the Seeds Tour. This is an inexpensive guided walkthrough of the greenhouses and research facilities at the Land Pavilion.
- Catch a glimpse of the Figment topiary near the Imagination pavilion.
- Surround yourself with fluttering pollinators at the Goodness Garden Butterfly House.
- View the pollinators’ garden and enjoy some sweet honey in part exhibit, part outdoor kitchen encounter, the Honey Bee-stro in Future World West.
- Take some crafts and how to tips from Plant a Garden Perfect For Pollinators in Future World West.
- Let your kids have some healthy and active play at the Play Full Garden in Future World West.
- Try some of the healthful vegan and gluten-free dishes at Flavor Full Kitchen by the Play Full Garden.
- See Disney’s two most famous dogs, Pluto and Goofy, in topiary form between Future World and the World Showcase
- Gaze at a hundred Floating Mini-Gardens on the ponds that grace the path to World Showcase. and marvel at the thousands of flowers that compose the living panoramas along the banks of the lakes of Future World East and West.
- Take in the Showcase Plaza topiaries that feature Mickey and Minnie on a Picnic, Chip and Dale, and Donald with his nephews.
- Enjoy the many applications of citrus at the outdoor kitchen The Citrus Blossom in Showcase Plaza.
- Take the Gardens of the World Tour guided tour to gain unique insights and information regarding Disney horticulture. It’s a three-hour tour for guests 12 and older and it costs $85 per person. You will also experience a variety of plant materials and learn how landscaping plays a part in developing a theme.
- Seek Out Donald Jose and Panchito topiaries in the Mexico Pavilion.
- Visit the Tropical Rainforest Garden at the Mexico Pavilion
- Find topiaries in the Norway Pavilion of a troll, and also Princess Anna and Queen Elsa
- Seek out the Chinese Zodiac Natural Sculptures, Bamboo Garden, Bromeliad Dragon and the Panda topiary at the China pavilion.
- Don’t pass by the African Outpost without first stopping to admire the Rafiki, Simba, Mufasa and Sarabi topiaries by the Outpost Shop.
- Get some balcony, or sloped terrain gardening insights at the Alpine Container Garden and go see the Snow White and Dopey topiary in Germany.
- Learn about the plants that make up delicious Italian food, see Lady and the Tramp as topiary and savor the dishes from the popular Primavera Outdoor Kitchen at the Italy Pavilion.
- See America’s classic cartoon couple before stopping at the Garden Rocks concert at American Gardens Theater where Topiary Sunflowers brighten the day.
- The Bonsai Collection and the Kokedama Garden add a touch of nature to the Japan Pavilion and the Outdoor Kitchen Hanami offers delightful “Frushi”.
- Pick up some more cooking insights at the Urban Spice Garden in Morocco.
- See Beloved Disney Classics Spring to life in topiary form along the France and UK pavilions, including Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Kermit, and Miss Piggy.
- Tour the English Tea Garden and the Shakespeare Garden matching quotes to flowers in the United Kingdom pavilion. In the back of the pavilion enjoy live British rock music under the bandstand.
- Take the Royal Tea Garden Tour paid experience for $20 and enjoy scones and tea when the tour is over! The tour starts before the World Showcase opens and it’s important to make reservations in advance and be on time.
- As you pass through Canada, be sure to look for Bambi, Thumper, and Flower topiaries and have a bite at Northern Bloom before you get back to Showcase Plaza; But don’t leave this spectacular pavilion without taking a stroll through the Victorian garden inspired by the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada.
