You haven’t experience virtual reality until you’ve experienced Disney’s collaboration with THE VOID and ILMxLAB. I’m sharing my experience and thoughts on Ralph Breaks VR experience down below! 

My Ralph Breaks VR Experience

I don’t know about you guys, but have you experienced something that was so cool, like out of this world cool?

Well, a few weeks ago while I was in the LA for the Ralph Breaks The Internet event, I experienced something that was so cool, and I can’t wait to do it again (and bring the whole family). 

Virtual Reality experiences

Yeah, I’ve done them before, and maybe you have as well. But, if you know a little thing or two about Disney, you will know that whatever they decide to do, it’s going to be a magical experience that will blow any other virtual reality experience out the water.

Kinda like when you go to Disney for the first time as a kid (hey, even adults too), you’re blown away by every little detail.

Ralph Breaks VR experience

Disney teamed up with ILMxLAB to create something so awesome; it’s so awesome I can’t really tell you too much about it. Well, I could, but then I would ruin the experience for you. But here’s what I will share.

Disney and ILMxLAB teamed up with THE VOID to bring Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet to life.

Yes, to life. Once you see the movie (comes out on 11/21), you will want to jump into the internet too! And you can, you really can jump into the internet and do all kinds of fun stuff with Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz.

What is THE VOID?

Not familiar with THE VOID? Here’s a little about what they do: The critically-acclaimed global leader in immersive virtual experiences, The VOID experience centers has marked a new frontier in interactive entertainment. Combining state-of-the-art VR technology, physical stages and multi-sensory effects, including touch and smell, with Hollywood characters and storylines, The VOID lets participants experience fully-immersive worlds that, until now, have only lived in the imagination. The VOID has eight experience centers globally, including five locations in the United States, two locations in Canada and one location in Dubai, U.A.E.

I wasn’t familiar with THE VOID or ILMxLAB before this experience. They do some super fun stuff, and I can’t wait to share this with my teens since they are both into gaming and graphic design.

Man, I should have known that Disney never does anything ordinary.

This hyper-virtual reality experience is so unique. I’ll be honest with y’all about my first thoughts on the Ralph Breaks VR experience. When I heard that we were going to be doing a virtual reality experience around this film, I thought, yeah, yeah, it will be like other virtual experiences.

I was blown about by the details, the equipment, and actually feeling like I was part of Ralph Breaks The Internet movie. Plus, it was so much fun!

So, what is this Ralph Breaks VR experience?

Well, here’s a few details that I can share with you guys: In teams of 4, guests will break into the internet with Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz disguised as characters from the film called “Netizens” to play the newest, coolest video game ever. Ralph Breaks VR introduces two brand new locations, Dunderdome, and Pancake Milkshake Diner, and a new antagonist, B.E.V. voiced by writer Pamela Ribon, which stands for “Built to Eradicate Viruses.” 

THE VOID is a whole-body, fully immersive VR experience, full of surprises at every turn; with you, your family and friends inside the action. One second you’re standing on solid ground, the next you’re stepping deep into darkness, looking at unimaginable beauty – or fending off danger from another realm. Did you see it? Did you feel it? What’s next? You’ll just have to experience it to understand.

And myself, along with 24 of my blogger friends were the first people to experience it (outside of employees, etc.).

Note: the pancakes and milkshake photo booth was an exclusive for us, and will not be available at the Ralph Breaks VR experience.

Where I can find the Ralph Breaks VR?

You can experience this as well since it will be open to the public in select cities. Tickets are available to purchase now in select cities: Anaheim, CA, Glendale, CA, Las Vegas, NV and Orlando, Florida.
