Our fall harvest party idea is the guide on how to put together a fall tablescape, simple fall party ideas, and tips on pulling a party together.
Fall Tablescape | Fall Harvest Party Idea
I love all things Fall, and I’m thrilled at how this fun party idea turned out.
For this Fall party idea, I kept it simple. Even with the food, we kept this fall harvest idea easy and with no fuss.
So here’s how I put this Fall tablescape together.
After lugging our dining room table and chairs outside, courtesy of my handsome teenage sons, I started with putting the centerpiece together.
Sometimes I start putting a tablescape together with the plates and silverware.
Sometimes I struggle with coming up with a great centerpiece idea, so I save it for the last thing on my list.
But with this idea, I knew I wanted to use a lot of greenery.
Shabby Chic Centerpiece Idea
Frosted sage is popular right now, especially in Farmhouse themes.
I placed a folded white lace curtain across the middle of the table, laying a beautiful piece of frosted sage on top.
I added purple pieces of frosted sage throughout the centerpiece for a little pop of color.
At the ends of the centerpiece, I placed color pumpkins for more pops of color and a brown bottle.
As much as I love the whole Farmhouse thing, one thing I don’t care for is all the neutral colors.
Most Farmhouse IG accounts I follow have lovely photos, but 90% are white and neutral colors.
A little color never hurts. 😉
I also added more color with little white plant holders and more green garlands.
I love how these gold/brown vases and bottles make a nice statement piece throughout this harvest tablescape.
How to set a Fall table setting
Here’s how I put each table setting together.
- Gold Silverware
- Linen Chargers
- White Dinner Plates
- Cloth Linen Napkins
- White Salad Plates
- Mini Fall/Harvest Decorated plates
- Pumpkin Ramekins
- Goblets
- Small glass cups
Shabby Chic Fall Decor Ideas
For some additional fall fun, I rolled out my shabby chic cart.
I LOVE this white cart.
For this shabby chic fall decor idea, I added a little of my Rae Dunn fall collection, soft, plush pumpkins, and other decor items.
I added a little pop of color with more sage greenery and little pumpkins from the $1 spot at Target.
Now, we need food and guests, and this party is ready to go!
Derrick made some simple recipes for this Fall Harvest Party.
I’m still on the fence about pumpkin everything, but Derrick recently created a spicy pumpkin hummus dish I am digging this year.
He whipped a pumpkin dip and no-fuss pasta dish for this fall party.
With bread and a fall punch, we’re ready to celebrate all things fall with our friends and family.
