8 Fun April Fool’s Pranks To Play on Your Kids
April Fool’s day is just one day away and I don’t know about you, but I am always up for a little bit of goofiness. One of the best “victims” on April Fool’s Day is any child. They are so funny and gullible and it is much easier to prank them than an adult because they often do goofy things anyways because they are kids.
I can’t really recall any pranks that were pulled on me as a kid. This may be because I was so embarrassed I was tricked that I have blocked them out, but in any case, here is a list of 10 harmless pranks to pull on your kids, or anyone who is a kid at heart.
Let the pranks begin!
Play with their food. Put googly eyes on everything you place in their sack lunch. Add a drop of food coloring to the bottom of their bowl, cover it with cereal and watch them in amazement when they add milk to it and it “magically” changes color.
Promise them “brownies” for dessert. Cut a bunch of letter “E”s from brown construction paper. Place in an 8 x 8 pan and color with foil to look like you baked some brownies. They will be surprised when they open the foil and see that there are really Brown E’s in the pan.
Shake up their dental routine. Add a drop of blue food coloring to their toothbrush, cover with toothpaste and they will be surprised that their teeth and mouth are now blue as they brush.
Surprise them with a funny hairstyle. Get a brightly colored wig or do your hair funny and when you pick them up from school they will be surprised to see your new ‘do. Act like you don’t know what they are talking about when they point it out to you.
Load your kids into the car for school and after they are buckled in, place a “honk and wave at the kids!” sign on your bumper. The kids will have no idea why everyone is honking and waving at them on the way to school.
Fool them at school. The night before, cover everything in their backpack in foil. Make sure they don’t open their backpack before getting to school.
If your kids sleep deep, this prank is for you: Take a brown or black marker (washable) and draw crazy eyebrows, a goatee and a mustache on your kids. They will freak when they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning.
Put clear tape over the sensor on your TV and remote as well as the bottom of your child’s razor mouse on the computer. They will go nuts trying to figure out what is wrong for a while.
What pranks do you plan on pulling this year? What have you done in year’s past? I would love to know what you are up to!
