Teacher Appreciation Day is coming up. Make your child’s teacher a gift they will remember by making a gift.
Here are several easy DIY gift ideas for teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.
DIY Gift Ideas for Teachers
It’s hard to believe we’re in the homestretch of the school year.
It felt like it was just yesterday I was sharing my goals for the academic year.
Before we get to the end of the school year, we have Teacher Appreciation Day.
This is a great time to honor and recognize your child’s teacher for all of their hard work.
If you’re looking for an easy DIY teacher idea, on a frugal budget, or just want to give something from the heart, I have some pretty awesome DIY Gift Ideas for you to make for your teachers!
When is Teacher Appreciation Day 2023?
Teacher Appreciation Day is on May 9th, so you have a little time to implement this plan!
I try to find unique gift ideas for the boys’ teachers, but sometimes I settle for a gift card to Target or their favorite coffee establishment.
Regardless of what type of gift you give (even if it’s just a card), letting your teachers know how much you appreciate them means a lot to teachers.
If your child’s teacher loves body scrubs, we have just the one to make this year.
This Red Apple Homemade Sugar Scrub has that bright pop I expect in an apple-scented item and, of course, all of the luxuries of a homemade beauty product.
Speaking of scrubs, here is another scrub to make as a Teacher Appreciation Week gift idea.
If the teacher(s) is a fan of pumpkin spice smells and flavors, they are going to love this Pumpkin Spice DIY Lip Scrub.
And it’s amazing and luxurious for the lips.
You can also check out this Candy Corn Homemade Sugar Scrub too!
Make a personalized jar for your favorite teacher to add fresh flowers or a plant.
You can see how we created a Bloom where you are planted jar using our Cricut machine.
You can follow our tutorial or create your own words.
And while we’re talking about personalization and a Cricut, you can make a mug with your teacher’s name on it or maybe a quote they resonate with or used during the year.
We recently shared a DIY on making mugs using our favorite quotes from the newest Spider-Man movie.
You can get inspired by this idea and create your own mug.
Maybe your teacher is a fan of plants but doesn’t have the time to keep one alive.
Make a faux one, like Potted Paper Cactus.
You can use our tutorial, which shows you how to make a paper Cactus, which is also great for a party theme.
